LED light Install on 4 post Lift

Installed two 14' long LED light strips on my Wildfire 4 post lift. Had to put the wires, electrical chord and switches in areas that can be permanent and user friendly. Also made an accommodation to plug my battery tender in when it's on the top of the lift. Amazon sells these lights in many different lengths. I paid $32 bucks for my 2) 16'-4" sections. They can be cut to fit your project with a sissor.

The challenging part of the install is to create an area that is user friendly to mount the switches. I had to secure a wood block with zip ties to shim the block up a little bit so the switches could be mounted to the 3 way that is mounted to the wood shim block. I even had to router out part of the wood block (1\4") to allow the switches to plug into the 4 way. A dremal worked good for this.

Nice job. When I built my 25 x 36 garage/shop 30 some years ago these four post lifts were not really available to the average home owner so I only put in 9 foot ceilings at the time I could have gone as high as I wanted well just another regret. Looks very nice a few more pictures would have been nice LOL.

I have 9’6” and was able to squeeze one in but cars have to be low profile.
