I believe Steeda's special active valve shock/struts are made by Koni. So you're getting Koni's either way.

Since you aren't lowering you probably don't need new top hats. The Koni's are said to be a little bit softer than the Steedas. If you ever wanted to replace your springs, you'd want to go with the Steedas.

The Koni's are going to be the closest to OE from a performance and comfort standpoint. The Steedas are going to be a little more aggressive and firmer. Warranty between the two is comparable. I drive more aggressively so if I didn't have magneride I'd go with the Steedas.

My recollection from discussions on the Mustang6g site is that the active dampers (Steeda or Koni) were good with stock springs when ride comfort is the top priority. Reviewers preferred the Steeda Pro Action, Ford Performance Track, and Bilstein B6 for handling.

I went with Bilstein B6’s for no other reason I liked how Bilstein improved the ride on an MY22 Ranger and MY23 F150
