I am seeing 2025 base GT’s selling at dealers brand new for 45K here in Nevada. I would say that’s a bad deal considering the 22K mileage.

I figured the performance pack is $5k. Active exhaust another $1500. 401A another 3k Plus it’s a GT Premium

original window sticker was close to $58k

Way better deals out there. I’m my surrounding area I’m seeing them for $5-9k off. Manuals are ridiculously hard to find.

I did a nationwide search of '24s to look for comps. GTs with PP and AE, most with half the miles, sometimes lower still, were on offer for the same price.

I then went to my local dealer, to look at '25s. Trying to find the best match, for $5K more ($50K), I can roll out with a brand new car (GT with PP and AE). True, pricing will vary by location.

The vehicle being looked at now, they seem to be between $3K and $5K over others of the same MY, spec and with less use.

Given the vehicle is almost two Model Years old, racked up 22K miles and I'm consistently seeing a starting discount of 5-10% off sticker on new Mustangs, I'd keep looking.

An alternative option would be to wait until '26 production starts, then return. If the car has an average retail of $3-5K less than what they're asking for now, fair sale price should be even lower then. Use the points from this thread as part of your discussions.

In anticipation of tariffs, pricing changes and attempting to navigate the unknowns, earlier in the year, customers bought vehicles. Production was tight, inventories low and prices high. Now, customers in-general have exhausted themselves and the '26 MY is right around the corner. It's a buyers market now.

YMMV.

If it's used and that's their initial price they will definitely go lower. Just make them think you have your eye on a new one and be ready to walk out immediately if they don't lower the price. They will call you back if it doesn't sell.

That's a well optioned car. But 45k is too high with that mileage. What year is it?

If you love the car, I'd think you could get them down to the low 40s. If not, there are better deals to be had. I'd personally be very leary of that kind mileage on a car like that.

I would not buy that car. The most important reason for me is that it has less than 14K miles left on B to B warranty. If I pay that money I would at least want closer to 30K warranty left.

I am not going to pay for heated seats. On a sports car, the lighter and simpler the better. I like the performance package though but would not search for it.

From what I see, the prices are falling fast on 24 and 25 models. And I agree with the poster who said once 26 rolls into the lots the discounts will follow.

As my Volleyball coach used to say : Wait to be Great!
