Hi everyone!

I've been selling Ford's since 1997 and this body style finally convinced me to get one. Not having a muscle car/ sports car since my 20's, this 50 year old feels like a kid again. Taking my kids out for rides and letting them feel the power and hearing the exhaust, watching their faces light up and big ole smiles takes me back to when my dad did the same thing to me in his various cars. He supposedly bought the first mustang ever sold in Lincoln, NE, a blue coupe. Although I never got see it, but heard stories how much fun it was.

Anyways, I've been on here since I ordered it back in August of last year. This had been a great place to learn about these great cars, things to do, not to do, accessories, etc...

Here's my version of my first Mustang to honor my dad's, haha

You have this spec'd beautifully. I like how the front splitter looks with the front grill. Two strong pieces. Very nice and unique. Dare I say my favorite spec yet. I also love the body style of the S650 which made me get off the fence too.

I've recently owned Genesis G80's and before that were Honda Accords. Now, my mid-life crisis is starting beautifully with this S650 Mustang GT. I'm in love with this car and happy to finally own a V8 manual. I've mainly driven imports, twin turbo V6's and I should have made the switch before. I'm blown away with the amount of aftermarket parts and support for the s650. I feel complete with this car and I'm heading to CVS to snag some "Just For Men" hair coloring, a bag of chips, and order an Amazon Basics silk button up shirt to start this new era of my life lol.

I've installed some Koni shocks, Steeda air filters, and I'd like to eventually get a magnaflow exhaust system.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'm going to switch gears and get a polo. I think I found the hat I'll be wearing to all meetings and weekend BBQs going forward

Hello everyone, just bought this S650 Dark Horse a few months ago. Love the car but already had a few minor issues. Horn went out and my clock won't stay in 24 hour mode. Horn replaced but Ford can't seem to figure out the clock issue. In other forums it appears the Mach-E and F150 have similar clock issues. I never had any issues with my 2022 Mach 1. Oil change last weekend and man is that a challenge just getting to the oil filter. Ford needs to put in a flap to remove the filter for sure.

Hey everyone I just picked up a Darkhorse Premium. Absolute Black, 6spd, and Recaros. I drove 3 hours to get it from Monaco Ford in Glastonbury ,CT. They were a great dealer to work with. My last Mustang was a 2001 Saleen S281 coupe, and before that a 1991 Saleen Convertible. and a few GT's before that. This Darkhorse is incredible. The ride is nice especially for a performance car.

Hey all!
I've been a Subaru guy for the longest time. I drove a (modified) WRX for the last 7 years or so. Started getting the itch for something new, and Subaru decides to discontinue the STI.. so I started looking elsewhere.

Looked at the Toyota Supra.. too impractical to daily here in MI.
Looked at the Nissan Z.. absolute blast to drive, but definitely would get me in trouble in winter.
Realized I hadn't given the Mustang a fair shot, went for a test drive and fell in love.

Ended up trading my WRX in on this beautiful pony. Rapid Red GT 401A with the Brembo package, active exhaust, a 6 speed, and the bronze appearance package.

Beautiful looking car from a fellow Michigander (or is it Michiganian - I've heard it both ways, lol). I noticed your comment about the Nissan Z you test drove would get you in trouble in Winter here in the great state of MI. Does that mean your going to be driving your Mustang in Winter here? Just curious

I do plan on daily driving this through the winter as well. I couldn't afford to get this and keep the WRX without stretching myself a little too thin.
I'll be switching to a good set of winter tires and likely avoiding driving when the weather gets particularly nasty. I'll miss the WRX in the winter for sure, that thing is a tank with snow tires on lol.
