Truck guy here , first car in over 25 years. My wife and I picked this up as a fun summer car for her and I to enjoy (mostly her ). Here to learn more about the Mustang , and get tips for ours.

I have wanted a Mustang since around 1993 when I had just began my teens , and my older brother had a 88 Foxbody. I went through high school drooling over girls and the 87-93 Foxbodys back then.

Never thought one day I would have something even better.
I don't have experience in a car anywhere near this powerful , so its traction control ON for me ! What a blast to own and drive compared to trucks.

Hi All - Just wanted to introduce myself. This is my first Mustang, though it is not the first one I've driven. I met my late wife partially due to the fact that she drove an 85 GT 5 speed and I drove a 69 GTO convertible. We both wanted rides in each other's car. This was in 1985. She always wanted for me to get one with the license plate GRLYBR to match hers. Her name was Theodora, but everyone called her Teddi, and her plate was TEDEBR. Unfortunately, it never worked out, but I always thought I would buy a GT someday as kind of tribute. That day was a few weeks ago.

So, I guess you can say that it's a bit personal, me being a GT owner - though she probably would have not been happy I didn't get the 6-speed!

I'm not exactly new here, as I used to post on the 6G page from time to time. I have had a long time love affair with the mustang and have owned a few.
92 LX 5.0 5 speed
94 GT auto
20 GT
24 DH
Only one of the above cars is or was great, except the 94, which was boring and under powered. One regret is getting rid of the 92. Best decision is purchasing the DH. Its a weekend car, but it's so much fun to drive, kinda rowdy.

never thought i would own a muscle car but after many videos of the sv650 here i am! traded in a 22 bronco wildtrack for a grabber blue gt premium with active exhaust. i cant think of a single thing to do to this car other than window tint, its just too good.

Lifelong Mustang devotee, with the spirit of the wild horse running through my veins. For the last 9 years, I’ve been the proud owner of an S550 steed, roaming the plains of Europe unbridled by any border or boundary… except the occasional speed camera.

Now, as the winds of change blow, I’m preparing to relocate to Texas, join the S650 family and continue my journey in the land where the Mustang was born. I look forward to sharing my experiences, learning from all of you, and contributing to this passionate community.

Hello! I’ve been joined to the forum for a few months now while I’ve waited for my atlas blue order to fulfill. Unfortunately, I got impatient seeing build dates and progress for so many. In the end, I found my car I wanted in Nebraska and flew out Thursday to pick it up. The six hour drive back was great and I am very happy I got this car! I have a few things I’ll need to address on it, but nothing too major and the dealership was great to work with.

Hey all!
I've been a Subaru guy for the longest time. I drove a (modified) WRX for the last 7 years or so. Started getting the itch for something new, and Subaru decides to discontinue the STI.. so I started looking elsewhere.

Looked at the Toyota Supra.. too impractical to daily here in MI.
Looked at the Nissan Z.. absolute blast to drive, but definitely would get me in trouble in winter.
Realized I hadn't given the Mustang a fair shot, went for a test drive and fell in love.

Ended up trading my WRX in on this beautiful pony. Rapid Red GT 401A with the Brembo package, active exhaust, a 6 speed, and the bronze appearance package.
