Interior ambient lighting question

On a drive home at night I noticed that my ambient lighting was off , went into the settings and tried to turn it on but no go. The menu where you change the colors ect in the mustang button menu is where I tried to fix it. Then I stopped my car and turned off ignition and when I restarted it was on but only when the headlights were off ? Is there a settings im missing or that i turned on or off that would fix this.? So headlights off the interior ambient lighting comes on ? Turned on headlights then it's off ? Any thoughts or suggestions.? Thank you for reading.

Seems interior lighting can randomly reset. For me ambient lighting is on the whole time…(I think)

Here are random things to try…good luck!

1) make sure ambient lighting brightness is set to medium or high and not off.

2) set headlights to Auto

ummm..that’s all I got.
