I went into settings and chose what I wanted to view in the instrument cluster, but it reverts back after shutting the car off. I tried hitting the back button after choosing, no help. I used the Home button, but it was no help. I pressed and held the seat memory button #1, no help. I wanted to see Trip 1 and Trip 2.

Oddly, seat positions 2 and 3 have what I want.

I read some comments here that it may be the profile. I don't believe I have the recall issue some owners have.

Is there some trick I am missing?

You’re not missing anything, it’s a bug... defect... enhancement request...
Here’s the rub, you can select what comes up in the gauge cluster via settings in the center cluster, however, if you de-select the trip meters, you can’t reset the trip meter if you keep track of mileage, mpg, etc.

you cannot alter the ORDER in which the options appear, so the order that the displays are in the center stack is the order that you’ll see in the gauge cluster. So, if you have 2 or 3 that are important and want them only in the gauge cluster, de-select everything else in the center stack.

That happened to me also. After setting up my dash preferences, I assigned it to memory 1 on the door. So far it has held and hasn’t reverted. Been 2 months now

I agree that it is a bug that is unresolved. But also have their weird feeling that when an update has freshly installed it takes time to process everything (no idea how long it lasts) even through it is displaying and functioning somewhat normal. Just a thought.
