I haven't used Alexa or any other phone connectivity such as Appleplay or Android. Oddly, everything seems to be working this morning.
A few years back, they had to replace the entire unit in an Expedition I leased.
When I try to change a radio station using voice recognition, it asks for a PIN. Today, not only did it ask for a PIN, but now I have no radio. I was able to use recognition to adjust the temperature without issue.
Any ideas?
I'm not worried about cloud-based stuff. I'm moving my iTunes over to a USB and will see how that works (less wires and smaller). This older iPhone I have in place of an iPod seems to work
I have a subscription to XM and use the iPhone only on longer trips. I downloaded several articles on moving my music from iTunes to my Samsung phone. One of these days.
When my old iPod conked out, Apple stopped making them, so I bought a small, cheap iPhone to store my iTunes music and never connected to a carrier.
