Planning on putting on my winter wheels on my 25 GT this weekend and was not sure if the car will automatically start sensing the new wheel TPMS sensors or have to go through a sequence to program them? I have the correct sensors installed on them, done at the dealership. on my old 23 Mustang it would read them automatically, was not sure if was the same on the S650's. thanks!

When training/learning, Ford recommends keeping 3 ft / 1 m distance from other Ford wheels. I recommend further, like the far side of the garage. Even if confused, yes, they should automatically sync within the first tens of yards/meters of driving, with no other traffic around. Ford's units have had auto-sense capability for the last few years.

Thanks! I was hoping they would do it automatically. before when I tried researching it I saw some who said they would and others said had to program them.

When I put my winter wheels and tires on they sync right up. Same in the spring when the summer wheels and tires go on.

When you say, " done at the dealership. on my old 23 Mustang " are you referring to you current wheels though? If so, those sensors won't sync up. The 24+ uses a different sensor. If you mean "done at the dealership with 24+ sensors like I did my 23 and it synced right away" then you are good.
