I just received a call that my Brittany Blue 60th just arrived at the dealership....part of me really wants to sign the papers and bring it to a high volume mustang dealership and trade it in and make some money on it? I did the same thing when my 22 Maverick came in. Just don't know if it'll be worth more than sticker since there's only 250 of them

You would lose 10-12k
At least 10K to 12K loss...probably more

Its not a Dark Horse, Shelby, Mach, Cobra exc-

Its a good looking car - dont get me wrong but its a Mustang with some different wheels and stickers/ badging

If you look- historically the anniversary are typically worth a few 1000 more then a non-special GT - this one wont be any different then all the other anniversary cars

That being said- its a beautiful car- enjoy it .....

You may make money on it in decades to come, if it becomes a highly sought-after car. Bear in mind that this car didn't sell out at all, let alone as quickly as other low-volume specialties. And this isn't exactly a huge specialty.

The 60th Anniversary in BB is a very beautiful car - congrats on getting one. My advice is to take it out on the road and appreciate it more than the enthusiasts who know what it is will. At the end of the day, it's still a Mustang, and it'll still put a smile on your face when you bury the throttle into the carpet or run it through some twisty roads.

Just remember to keep traction on. :p

Also wanted to add- if this is a car that you love......and even if you could make say 3K profit

The smiles the car gives you owning it will be a far superior ROI to the small profit selling it.....

According to some my car should be a collector car- but Im driving it into the ground because memories are worth more to me then the money ......not to mention cars over time usually are a horrible investment - even if you do get lucky 20 years from now.....the money invested in the stock market usually does better......

I missed the section where the op had medical bills I apologize. I thought it was just a plan to make money by flipping the car. :-(

What is that saying? A fool and his money are soon parted.

Don't do it OP. You won't make any money on it. You will lose money right away as soon as you drive off the lot and go around trying to get out of something you don't want. It is not worth the hassle plus most of us agree here that you will not come out ahead.

The price rage or '22 is LOOOOOONGGG gone. You will 100% lose money on this car. 22 was fun though.

Get rich quick schemes normally don't work. Sounds like you got lucky with the Maverik during covid dealership delirium. If you follow through with the BB, you'll be sitting at 1 for 3.
It takes money to make money, and using a car loan isn't the best way to go about that.

Cars are always a terrible investment/way to make money compared to the S&P 500…

even when you hear story’s of rare multi million dollar Shelby’s and hemi cuda’s.. etc…

they would’ve made multiples more just buying the S&P 500 over time…

we have a saying in my circle… buy $SPY and vibe
