Title says it all. Every time I try to post a picture in a thread, it does not work. I've tried to drag and drop, and upload.

If you happen to be using the Brave Browser turn off shields for this site when you go to upload a picture. You can turn it back on after the upload completes.

Do you know how to start a thread and how do you put a picture as your profile? Not joking don't know how to do it. Help would be great thank you in advance.

So you need to be looking at the forums page and not a single thread.
Like here:
<https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/>
Then in the upper right hand corner you click on the box "Post Thread" , pick a forum that fits the topic you are posting about, type in your message and to add a picture click the 10th icon from the left in the selection bar, or hit Ctrl+P and either drag your image into the box or click on the box, find your image on your computer and select it. That should do it.

Before posting you should use the search function to see if a similar thread already exists and post to that thread instead of starting a new one.

If picture is saved in your Documents or Pictures files, can use the Attach files button as well.

Try converting the image to a jpeg before attempting to upload. Try texting it to yourself, select most compatible (image option during share selection), and then save and upload that version. Sometimes a small revision, a little crop, helps the conversion process.

The platform you're posting from can make a difference. Many attempting to do things from their cell phones or tablets have issues. PCs and Macs have fewer problems.

Check all Ad Blockers, Anti-Virus programs; many can prevent transfers.

Confirm the file size. There are limits. The largest single post I've been able to accomplish is just shy of 10M.

Regarding Profile pictures, simply click on your name in the upper-right, go to, "Account Details", scroll down, and you'll see your avatar. File resolution can show things a bit weird. Sometimes, you have to experiment.

That was it. Brave shields were interfering.
