Looks like a Corvete with the long front in my opinion
That is a Corvette rendering, but it's a perfect example of what I want with a more exotic mustang. Blend that with this and you understand the sort of car I have in mind.

this variant of the why this generation is failing posts is hilarious. Why do we, the consumers, need to save the Mustang? Why doesn't Ford, the people who make the damn thing, do something to save it like make a car that is worth buying against their own used cars or other used cars that people are buying? That's the only way any of the v8 muscle cars get "saved"; the OEMs themselves have to take a good long look at themselves and do the work to give a product that says that it is THE best product at the price point. People want to say so much that muscle car fans aren't cross shopping super cars or sedans or SUVs, but at the end of the day it's all about price and value per dollar. Are people gonna overpay for a Mustang? Or are they gonna pay for a value sports car that they can do a lot more in. That really is it
Ford has already spoken, we just aren’t willing to listen to them. The S650 is what we got. The price is what it is. The rest is just hyperbole.

If it is what it is, then the answer to OPs question is simple. we can't save the mustang

Despite all the cynicism that seems to flourish around here, members of the Ford team do in fact listen to feedback, and do in fact visit this site. I mean keep in mind we had that guy who worked for Ford who straight up told us what the s650 would look like before we saw it. So Ford employees are here. The hope, as microscopic as it is, is that maybe Ford will actually listen to what we are saying, so they can make some changes going forward.

Enough with all this cynical bullshit lol.
Dude, i'm just stating my opinion same as you. And I find it funny how you say how do we save the Mustang, when I remember your username and you made posts earlier last year saying you hadn't even bought this mustang yet. I'm just curious; have you bought an s650?

I understand that, but im just curious as to if he or she bought the s650 or not; it's a fair question given that one of the main ways to save the mustang is to actually buy one

Also is this the same Ford company that made this post: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/ford-motor-company-announcement.164784/
and also periodically just asks for VINs but never actually follows up on any of the problems people post on here.

I must be one of the “poors”. As a former GT500 owner and current 2023 Hellcat and 2024 C8 owner the reason I haven’t bought a 2024 GT or DH is because of the price for a reskinned S550 and performance for the money- and I buy all my Fords/Lincolns at Z-plan.
Maybe I will buy an S650 something someday.

that’s wrong. You shouldn’t have so many great cars. Gluttony is a sin. You should offload one or two of those beauties…to me. I’m helpful like that.

With all this about the cost to buy a Mustang, many forget the #1 reason that the younger generations cannot afford a Mustang and that is insurance. My nephew tracks a 2018 GT350. (I own two Mustangs and a third on order. ) I offered him my 2013 V6 for his son’s first car because I wanted to keep it in the family, but I did not have the time to drive it. My nephew informed me that even he could not afford the insurance on a 2-door for a teenager. The kid is getting the family Lexus SUV instead. Unless you are very rich, or well to do with no kids to raise, Mustangs are getting unaffordable. And a few electrical fires could also jeopardize the EVs.
