Yes, absolutely, However not all vinyl is the same., Plan to spend about $500.00 for a set of full body strips. Not counting the labor. I have had vinyl on my 2014 Corvette and when I should the vette in 2013 the stripe was like the day I bought the car. I really don't car for painted stripes because of the ridge created from the tape. You have to fine sand it to even it off to the car body paint otherwish wax/polish runs the line. Vinyl it can happen but its much easier to wipe off. Hope this helps

Sorry, this sentence has confused me in many different and conflicting ways. Perhaps you could try again?

I meant on the dark horse
Many (most) Dark Horse come with stripes from the factory. Your clarification didn't help.

Of course, since everyone in this thread is confusing me, maybe I'm the problem here? :frown:

im sorry. So I’ve done a bit more research. The painted $6000 option on the dark horse is hood over the top and rear. If you don’t choose that option it is only vinyl on the hood. So I thought if you didn’t pick that option it was the same as painted and wanted to know how they were. As I see it now nothing compares to the painted. Sorry for the confusion

Mine are Avery vinyl. I have them on a 2015 EcoBoost Premium Convertible, as well as this one.

I had them fabricated to my specifications by Exotic Vehicle Wraps of Sterling, Virginia. The EB was done in November or 2015 and the GT was done in August 2020. Exotic does wraps and decals for high value and specialty cars and told me that Avery vinyl is the best product for striping.

I've had no fading or peeling, am extremely satisfied, especially the cost--parts and labor under $1,000 for each car. However, be sure to shop around and ask for references.

I heartily recommend Exotic to anyone who lives in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia area.
