Hey, I just bought a CF hood and hood pins as suggested by Anderson Composites.

Can anybody help with the exact Pins location on the engine bay of an S650?, because I havent found anything specific for that generation.

Well you can assume the pins are going to go into the upper tie bar on the core support

Someplace where there is not a wiring harness under where you will be drilling, no radiator under the area etc. and symmetrical

If you watch the GTD video from Jay Leno's Garage when they open the hood you can get a real good idea where they mounted the pins on that car.

I linked the video and a screen shot in the next post

Thanks for the answers, I saw that video but wasn't sure if it's the same location for the Regular GT.

Weight savings compared to the stock hood are not worth the money, specially if it's for a street car.

I did it for the vents cause these s650 get really hot.

Yeah, ive been looking into them recently but they are very expensive. I love the look of CF though.

I'm still debating on whether or not to keep it as exposed cf or to color match it to the rest of the car.

Any advice?
