Homemade GT40 at Michelin SiMiX

The first video in the series is a very impressive time lapse of making a GT40 in 4000 hours over 4 years. The follow-on video's that take the audience into the secretive Michelin SiMiX facility where they spent countless hours over several weeks using unique and precise equipment to tune the suspension are equally impressive. Apparently this expertise is used by manufacturers, but this guy was able to get access because of his audience size. I learned a lot watching this series even though it's in French, so I turned off the sound and read the subtitles.

My first impression was definitely the same as yours. However, the really insightful part of the whole series is how he worked with the Michelin development center to dial in the suspension.

I'd love to have the time and resources to build something like that......but at 77 years old and on SS it's not very likely!!
