HMI ISSUES (Profile Settings sync With Remote)

According to the manual, the profile settings can be linked to a profile setting. Dealer is unable to resolve.

Ford customer relations is also unable to resolve after performing two different resets. But Ford customer relations agrees that the profile should sync with a remote. If this was true and the manual is correct the profile settings is supposed to engage when the vehicle is started.

Dealer is still working on problem but I have very little confidence 5hat they will resolve the issue.

Any help with this issue would greatly be appreciated.

So I have a different yet related issue, seems to be not an uncommon thing.

In my case if I enable profiles and sync them to keys - car develops selective amnesia with regard to some presets: info center field selections (what parameters I want to scroll through), rpm shift indicator (keeps resetting it to 4k), occasionally MyColor choices, etc. The only way to restore full functionality is to disable profiles and reset (and keep profiles turned off).

Perhaps that's something to try - delete individual profiles and then disable them, followed by a HU reset (holding volume and down arrow or something?). Then try profile setup again, sync it one at a time.

Another thought: keep only one key in proximity to the car as it's being programmed/synced, keep the other far away, in an RFI blocking bag, remove battery, etc. Maybe change batteries in the remotes too while you're at it?
