Help? Crackling noise

Hey everyone. I have a question for fellow 24 GT owners. I’m having this problem where at a high speed (but I noticed it’s inconsistent. Certain places I’m driving it doesn’t happen), I hear this crackling type of noise coming from it seems the driver side vent area, in the firewall. I cannot figure out for the life of me what it is. I don’t feel any air coming in or anything. My friend is a tech at ford, and he said he’s willing to look into it, but it’s going to turn into a huge nightmare. Has anyone heard this issue? Any possible things I can try to do to fix it?

It doesn’t sound much like it’s the panel. It’s odd though. It’s like a literal crackle type of noise.

Nope. It’s not that. That’s literally plastic I can tell. Mine isn’t. It’s so unique and odd.
