I ordered my 2026 Mustang GT back on 4/16 with a build week of 6/29 and I got the email on 7/1 saying the car was built
it’s now 7/30 and I still have no Mustang although it said ETA 7/10-7/16 and then it changed to 7/26-8/1 but it never once labeled as shipped.
When I look on both trackers it just says it’s built and waiting for shipment.
does this mean it never left the plant?
I called my dealer a while ago and she told me that they have stop sales on some mustangs on their lot because of the recall and they thought that’s what was taking mine so long to arrive but after running the vin she said mine is not affected and it only affects VINs built before 2/16.
but still she or her managers don’t know why mine has taken so long to ship.
she said if it was damaged they would’ve gotten notified about it or if it had a recall they would’ve been notified but she said she can only see what I can see on the tracking side of it.
