I have the original style one on my Dark Horse I love the sound.

I had the original one on my 2020 S550...loved it as well. This one supposedly tucks in a little tighter and giving more clearance.

I couldn't help myself. Borla's new Switchfire pipe arrived today. Going in tomorrow. I don't have the equipment to capture decent A/V but will try so you don't have to rely on my impression.

Added the pics below...apologize for the poor quality, but the trunk light and a handheld are all the lights I could manage for the moment.

Which one did you get, the one for their exhaust or the one for the stock exhaust?

Following to see if you get a sound clip. I always like these, just never pulled the trigger. I have a Steeda Xpipe now, it sounds pretty good.

Ok, well, I can't help myself. The pipe is brilliant. It produces the deeper growl of an H-pipe and the snappy flare of an X-pipe. Very close to what you've sampled from Dave2013M3 A/V captures of his GT. I will do some recording in the coming days. But I can report no drone, a bit more robust on cold start (but in an "OEM" way), and polite (as polite as OEM) for routine drives in town. But all that changes when you get on it...rev out to 7K, it's mustang music.

Update for 26 Jun 26:

As I mentioned, I'm not equipt to capture A/V. These few clips were shot on a Pixel 10 Pro. It's your basic array: cold start, revs in and outside the cabin. Sorry, no drive-bys. I may be able to record in-cabin during a highway jaunt. I acknowledge up front that many of these clips can start to sound the same, unimpressive, etc. However, I affirm this short doesn't do the Switchfire justice.

Installed the Borla Switchfire today. 3180 is stock, 3190 is the switchfire. A lot of videos out there on the resonator delete, this is just sound clips from my phone. About 18” centered from the pipes and on the ground, hence the quality picture🤩
Keyflob blips which if you didn’t know the difference ya might not know. Yet on the road quite the difference! Low rumble at idle, lower than stock, at a light even with track on its there but not obnoxious. From a stop easy acceleration is mellow in sport and in track it says I’ve got something in here. From a 20mph roll it has a nice bubbly roll to the sound then in sport mode it takes off like a banshee the power rumble turns into a breathing dragon. Not high pitched yet it’s definitely getting into the X sound. Personally I like the mix of sounds and the seat of the pant feeling is there. The combo of the Steeda pro intake and Switchfire work well together IMHO.
