I'm not usually the biggest fan of silver (or for that matter, black, the color I have heh) but that, sir, looks fantastic with the stripes and wheels.

Thanks. It was dumb luck it had the stripe kit and it does offset everything well. Going to wrap the spoiler and mirrors to match the black from the stripes I think……undecided on pattern yet

Well,

after 10 years of German cars I made my way back and just picked up my 4th 5 litre. Very impressed with fit and finish compared to my 2015.
couldn’t be happier to be back in the community.

what did you come from? I’ve had V8’s,V6’s, boosted 4’s, boosted inline 5. Nothing beats the rumble of a 5 litre.

The land of very few V8's at reasonable money. I've had 2x V6's, an line RB25 6 cyl and a lot of n/a and turbo 4's, plus one supercharged 4 I did myself.

Yes, I needed to keep it simple though, it was my daily driver.
Still, it stayed with a Sierra Cosworth up to 130kmh.

Thanks for the kind words Glenn. I’m 54 but I feel like I’m 18 again lol with my new 5 litre. It was just dumb luck that the options I was looking for were only on this car here with the stripes. I’m really digging them as well. Next up spoiler and mirror wrap

Well played ….had a good chuckle

but after 10 years of some nice German cars. I really missed that 5 litre rumble. I am still shocked at the tech in my 25 vs my last one which was a 15 and ironically was the same colour but no stripes….and the performance pack back then had these black painted wheels that scratched if you breathed on them….didnt matter what you wiped them with chemical wise ….those old staggered black painted sets were a maintenance nightmare

Billetworkz Matte Black Shifter arrived today. Just waiting for the reverse lockout to arrive before install.

Must say….Billetworkz’s build quality is impressive and the craftsmanship is stunning. First time ordering from them.

I am thinking of getting a custom billet tray made to match the shifter where you put your cellphone in front of the shifter.

on a completely different side note, I am bummed that MM&FF/5.0 are finished now even in digital issues….do you remember the days when 5.0 magazine was 200 pages + and tons of ads? Read every page faithfully. I love my iPad Pro but I miss 5.0 printed magazines which tablets killed…..can’t have everything…..
