ive been considering an upgrade from the non hp spoiler to the hp spoiler and flap. Ive never seen it available for what i would consider an even remotely reasonable price. Just saw this auction up on ebay. I still think its a ridiculous price for a piece of plastic lol....but

https://www.ebay.com/itm/127350042497

any thoughts?

Also - is this a simple plug and play replacement to the stock darkhorse spoiler? I wont be drilling or lining up extra holes to swap these right? unbolt stock, bolt in the new, yeah?

Id love to hear some opinions!

Any spoiler from any fastback model should be just a bolt on to any other fastback that currently has a spoiler. There will be some removal of sticky tape...

Really. theres sticky tape involved eh? hrmmm

Well i went for it. talked the seller down an extra 80$. still expensive but Ive always liked the look of the handling pack spoiler vs the regular darkhorse/gt spoiler. Figured id never see it available for a half reasonable price. its unique for the 7th gen. I didnt realize the base darkhorse spoiler was the same spoiler the 6th gen GT performance packs got.....so that made it less exciting.

ill try doing some online research on how to install this badboy, im sure its not difficult, but if anyones got any hot tips on how to take off the old one, or how NOT to take it off.... and then how to do the best job installing the new one id really love to hear peoples install experience

Ah yes thank you. I have been looking at all of the aftermarket and ebay options. they all look really excellent and it sounds like the fit is pretty dang good for aftermarket. i do realize theyre 1/3rd the price of what i just purchased lol. I have a thing for OEM stuff. I dont know whats wrong with me. its to my wallets detriment though, thats for sure.

Steeda is a solid option :) ... we have sold a good amount since bringing them to market & it's definitely a solid upgrade!

If you have the money for OEM. Then why did you not tick the Handling package box when you ordered the car? The HP was a deal breaker when I bought mine.

HP spoiler cost me $790 shipped and that was a good deal. Prices seemed to go up when it actually became available, mine was a preorder.
