cant wait to hear how this sounds. though, im not sure how you can patent an X pipe followed by an H pipe? it doesnt sound like this passes the hurdles for novelty and non-obviousness, especially considering at least 4 years ago some people on a BMW forum were talking about an H pipe before an X pipe, and Akrapovic actually makes such a product. https://akrapovic.com/en/car/product/66?brandId=19&modelId=63&yearId=231. interested to see if the patent ends up being granted

Interested in the before and after results, both dyno and track. The placement/ position/diameter of the h may tune ever so slightly?

Is this why the beemers are underrated, err uh produce more than advertised?

although akra looks to be in the wrong (?) order.

Does a X or H pipe sound louder/ better than the stock DH? Is it worth it? The DH stock exhaust is not bad actually

Louder, yes. Better, yes but that’s subjective. I like mine. Steeda H-pipe.

I’d say yes it’s worth it. And it’s a good do it yourself item, though I do most everything myself. I caught it on sale at Memorial Day for about 200 or so. It makes quiet mode kind of like an old 90 GT sound. Hard to quantify but the OE resonator is more effective than I figured for no more than there is to it.

X pipe is quite raspy under acceleration. H pipe is louder. Do either sound "better"? That's a personal opinion.
