GT Fastback Rear Wing Spoiler - options?

Just saw this on the MyStang Mods website.

$2,300 for an unpainted piece of moulded plastic on a 6-8 week back order is quite steep/ridiculous.

The Appearance pack is only $1500 and comes with a painted spoiler.

Just another delusional aftermarket supplier, almost as silly as the other crowd asking $1200 for two air filters.

By the time that's painted and installed, it would be a $3500 - $4000 piece of plastic.

Flexx Motorsport are now selling DH style spoilers for $650 inc shipping to Metro areas

Unpainted, but I'm sure you could get it Vinyl wrapped for a smallish fee.

Edit: It's not OEM but not priced accordingly either.

I read somewhere that VIC guys shall be avoiding Flex, So will if I end up getting one eventually.
I m getting Molten Magenta, so still thinking abt this

As none of the local Aussie aftermarket providers have been forthcoming about S650 spoiler options, or promoting something as "Coming Soon" and then treating potential customers like absolute mugs for over 12 months, I went with this:

Discussed elsewhere here on 7G, but this ebay vendor has a history of under-promising and over-delivering.

Shipping is relatively expensive (USD$400), obviously based on cubed-out weight, but it arrived on the 10th day via FedEx courier.

Sample listing images depict items with chips, scuff marks and minor defects, however the spoiler I received must have come off a brand new vehicle, with no defects found so far.

I was even prepared to spend $350 as quoted by a local panel shop to rub back and respray if required.

Total cost delivered to my door was AUD$1229, and they are pre-painted.

Oxford White was USD$299 whilst other A-grade items are priced at USD$329.
Lower/cheaper grade are available, but expect touch ups required.

Bear in mind I was expecting a spoiler with some chips and defects, but....




If you're sick of waiting on non-responsive local suppliers, then consider this as a good option.
