Why did you think you had a legit shot at it?Thought I had a legit shot at it but it wasn't meant to be I guess. What's going to be the next high performance variant coming down the Flat Rock line? Someone please say Boss 429...
It's impressive, but I'd rather buy an Audi R8 AND a cabin lol.Have you done your research on the GTD?
I'm guessing you would drive it if you got one?Mainly the ownership history I've had with Ford
https://www.porsche.com/canada/en/models/911/911-gt3-models/911-gt3/Yes I would have for sure and had intended to sell my GT3 if I got an allocation.. I'm not one of these flipper guys, that's not my style.
while we are still waiting for concrete power and ‘ring times, I’m thinking there is no way to match the GTD suspension without sending your car to multimatic.@Rated R ..... Get a GT of your choice go to RSA and have CJ take your 10R80 and turn it into a macdaddy 1500 then get FFRE to build you a twin turbo with HP from 1500 to 2000 - then go out and smoke everything on the road. FFRE won engine builder of the year for 2023 in the USA and loves 4th gen coyotes. RSA will put the packages and parts together. Google 2000HP Coyote beats lambo or google TRC (that racing channel) for Jr and the guys and FFRE - fast forward racing engineering to see some smokin' coyotes. Fear not.......there's still life out there after being turned-down. Personally, I'd rather have a 2000HP (at the wheels) Mustang sleeper....imo.....waaaay more fun. Screw the corporate guys.....build a reliable Mustang monster and go hunt a GTD with a camera crew! Smoke the GTD and put it on youtube. BTW Building a monster Mustang will probable cost a lot less than the GTD......and there's also the RTR????. I know a GTD is a super track car but there are still amazingly fun options. If you have the time at least google the 2000 HP coyote beats Lambo. These guys also build a 1750 at the WHEELS F150 4x4 that is a hunter/killer!![]()
Where I live R8's are everywhere. So are Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches and I've even seen a Veyron or two . Cyber trucks as well. Not sure how they are insuring those though as in NYS it seems insurance companies are beginning to refuse insuring them. The joke here is you look all primped up sitting in your Porsche until some other person driving a Ferrari shows up at the light across from you. Someone will always have a better car than you. Enjoy what you have as life is too short to play the mine is bigger than yours game.True I see R8s on the road, what are the chances you'll see GTD? Let someone who has the money buy one! Isn't that why we buy these cars? I bought what I could afford, it's pretty sweet. My daily.
I've never been one to chase this sort of crap, having the best car around. I buy what I like and not what I think others would be impressed by. It happens to be partially why I'm conflicted between Porsche and Mustangs. I like them both, and why I'd love to have a GTD. Porsche has a pretentiousness to the brand that many gravitate to, which i dislike. Mustang really doesn't have that so much.Where I live R8's are everywhere.
