I'm not worried about the $75 ticket. I'm worried about the accompanying repair order.
I said the same thing and got a ticket for it 2 weeks ago. I should have known better because with my luck there was a billion to one odds I would get a ticket. I make people that deal with Murphy’s Law luck, feel like they just won the lottery.
I think I will fabricate a bracket like the ones I have seen or just use two sided alien tape.

How much was the ticket? Did they require you to install a front plate as part of the citation?

Did you have the front plate with you? If so, you say I finally ordered a frame that doesn’t force me to drill holes in my bumper. It will come in this week…

Sto N Sho for the win. No holes were drilled, as mentioned above.

I was looking into the stow n show but NJ law requires a minimum 12” above the road. It’s prolly still going to be non compliant.. thoughts? Seems the only other way is using the tow hook

I hate the front plate but was once pulled over in a previous car solely for not having a front plate. I got a warning and had to get one.

Expensive as all h, e, double hockey sticks but its easy to take on and off, it's no drill, and doesn't seem to interfere with any of the CoPilot 360 stuff (adaptive cruise, collision avoidance, etc, etc, etc). Pretty much sits right where the Ford front license plate bracket would have been.

I had my Prowler for 6 months before I got pulled over for no front plate. But then again, that car attracted attention to say the least….lol.

You might never get pulled over, or one day get pulled over at the end of a month when they have to fill their quota. But hey…keep it going! the car looks so much better that way.

Oh I'm not giving in until forced to do so. I store it under a garage and only put 7K miles on it last year which I'm sure helped. Also plenty of PA and DE cars down here so the lack of a front plate doesn't catch any attention. But they'll get me eventually I'm sure.
