Hello all. To any of you who use Forscan, i’ve seen some news about the newest update... The issue i’ve been seeing with this update, is that the lines in the modules have changed numbers entirely, and with that, any OEM As built backups you had prior to changes, wouldnt work with the new forscan as the numbers dont line up, so finding what you need to revert is like practically guessing because the spreadsheet doesnt show the new numbers..

What ways have you guys found to counter this issue? Have you just been staying on the version prior? 64 instead of 65? Any help would be great, because I want to update, but don’t want to be stuck finding where my prior line was....

You can give them your own numbers if you like per module.

Line 1, line 2, line 3..

Might not help when I don’t know them already you know? Because here's my example. I don't remember what the address was as I did it months ago.. But say, WAL... Lets say its prior address was 7E0-101-120.. Or whatever. If I update, now it's completely different and lost with the others. Still haven't found a reliable way to combat that, especially since our spreadsheet doesn't account for the new version...

The first one is always the first one and the last one is always the last one. So you just give them a number and you will find out which line it is.

When plugged in your vehicle you then have to count the lines.

I see... I see. So it's in the same module and position. Okay then. So worst comes to worst if I decide to update, I’ll revert all my changes, then update, and redo it from OEM on v65
