I see that, and the Escape and Explorer get recognized. But the Mustang gets dropped in "SUVs and Cars"
I don't think you understand what these vehicles are.

Performance Vehicles are part of Ford Performance.

Ford Performance is fka Ford Racing.

All those vehicles are raced by the Ford Performance teams. As in, factory backed racing.

They aren't just listed there because the are (generically speaking) "performance" vehicles.

Ford performance cars have specific tunes (Usually requiring 91 octane) and a 36,000 mile three year warranty.

Ford vehicles are tuned to run on 87 and come with the standard 5 year 60,000 mile warranty.

Thats how I understand the difference.
The warranty on the Ford Performance vehicles is the same as the others in the Ford line up. I still have some time on my 2017 Raptor’s ESP(warranty), and it will run on 87 octane and up. It will run better on 93, but it will run safely on 87.

Yeah, the Dark Horse is an odd duck. It’s a regular production Mustang, but can only be bought by the made infamous by Ford Performance “allocation” process. Basically, the Dark Horse is the red headed step child of Ford’s performance lineup.
It's also the base of the Mustang Challenge so DH R has been taking priority from the line and DH parts supply

ROTF! Exactly how many track-only $150,000 Dark Horse R Mustangs do you think they build?

Didn't think so.

My point still stands. They don't build enough to affect DH part supply or build priority.

Some people don't have time for facts. Sad but true.

There's a number. That's what 'quantify' means.

If they build 1 R for every 10 DHs, that's one thing.

If they build 1 R for ever 1,000 DHs, that's another.

My point is, the former will not affect parts availability or priority of building DHs as was being claimed.
