didn't know where to post this but Recaro filed for bankruptcy (their automotive division). Wonder what is going to happen if they do not find a buyer or new investments and what future mustang configurations will look like if Recaros are not available anymore

Recaro seats in mass-produced models are often only licence products. Developed by Recaro, built by others. Insolvency for a German company does not mean that the company is bankrupt. It is possible that they will either save themselves or be saved by an investor. Business operations are still continuing as normal

Ford dropped Recaro seats from all European models last year, only the Mustang still has them. The new sports seats in the Fiesta and Focus are very similar.
