I just eyeballed it. I can go out later and measure If you need. I just reminded myself it’s just a trunk and not to worry too much…lol. It was a lot easier to put the grill on while the enclosure was out of the car.

I shall eyeball it as well. No need to measure!

Looking good! I have the cargo mat and cargo net too. Both pretty handy. Fire Ext. is a smart addition. Hmmmmm.

I noticed from my music catalog playing Bluetooth off my phone, the quality varies wildly. Bands like Gorillaz sound incredibly clear with a ton of bass, while some of my heavier metal bands sound muddier than when I played them on CD in my 06 GT. (I am 61 and listen to most everything. I enjoy Yacht Rock as much as Black Sabbath and Zeppelin….lol.)
Almost certainly down to the level of compression on your mp3 files. Check what quality settings you are using by looking at the file properties.

Yeah good point. Probably a compression issue. Most of the music in my phone I painstakingly ripped from CD’s and converted myself. I had stacks of CD’s and it literally took a week. I should try to re-burn the worst sounding ones at much lower compression and see if there’s improvement.

These new Samsung phones have no damn SD card slots anymore and I was worried about storage. New phones don’t even have headphone jacks…or even a removable battery. They want so bad for their $1,000 piece of tech to become a paperweight so you buy a new one.

I do have Sirius XM which has better quality sound, but every station is the same 10 songs over and over…and they will never play what I have in my phone. Beck, Gorillaz, Cake etc. are brilliant…when is the last time you heard anything from them played on sat. Radio?

I remember back before the merger was fully complete and Sirius played such different music than XM. But Sirius was too cool for the room and played such weird obscure stuff, it was too much the other way. Sirius now is like top 40

I am subscribed with YouTube which gives me YouTube Music as well. I make my own playlists plus access to theirs. From my own collection I put mine on a 1Tb jump drive. It is plugged into the center channel USB port and used as an addittion source. Any additonal sources would be reduntant. Google took away my ability to play my video Mp4 collection earlier this year. That, in and of itself, has it's own story.

BTW, I tapped into the sub speaker outputs with a line converter/small Kicker amp which drives a pair of Aura Bass Shakers. They are mounted to the floor under each front seat. They give that thump the sub cannot reproduce. Whew....ĺ
