The cost of carrying inventory is extremely high right now due to high interest rates. Typically dealers don't buy the cars or own them. They are essentially paying for a loan on the car while it sits on the lot.

So there is a lot of motivation to move cars fairly quickly.

Plus, it's hard to sell RWD cars in the frozen tundra when there's a few feet of snow on the ground. They are trying to sell before winter hits. In the spring I would expect they may want more money.

Probably because theyre in Wisconsin. Gotta store it for months right when you buy it and that's no fun lol
