Just curious if anyone on this forum has the painted hood decals instead of the vinyl decal, and what their thoughts are about it. Would like to see what it looks like.
Is this an option for curtain colours or packages of the DH?

Reason I'm asking is Ford will be reinstalling my hood vinyl decal for the third time this year. I'm getting sick of this crap from Ford.

The first one came with white spots all over it from shipping and the second one was installed by a professional shop that messed it up (it 's off a little) but the biggest issue is the cracks all along the decal. Can't see it in the picture but up close you can see the cracks.

I'm wondering if I complain enough that I could get it painted this time.

Thanks for listening.

Cheers all.

I have a decal, the painted ones go from the hood over the roof and ends on the deck lid. It is the one option I should have spent the extra 5k for. With painted stripes the roof is no longer painted black.

Looks nice thank you for the photos.

I have the full black roof and If I went that route I would l not get the grey strip with the Dark Horse wording.

Decisions decisions.
