When we built this in the early 2000's from a pile of parts we wanted something cool. And even these were considered big. Car still looks exactly the same.

Not sure these deep dish wheels would be friendly on my S650.

I don't have a problem at all with these renders......In fact, I'm loving that last picture.......Cragars are a classic wheel that have been on 1000s of muscle cars.

I'm really not a fan of all chrome wheels, which is why I will someday change out the chromes on my 2010 ZR1 for some satin finish wheels.....

I had no idea that these were worth north of $100k now.

OK, 60 plus owners, would you consider buying Cragar SS’s for your 7g if they were available?

Even for a millisecond

i admit I looked to see if they were available

I have been looking around for a set like this that has black spokes and polished outer edges on the rim near the tire. but no luck for 7 GEN. I dig this retro look way more than the busy rims that are mostly available.

Personally I love these optional wheels, I got with my Mustang, from the factory. I think it captures the five spoke wheel of the past, but its more in line with the S-650 lines and shapes.

A fun thread, yet other than drag and track racing, if it's a daily driver, it defeats stuff. Like ABS, TPMS, speedometer, ride control. IMHO, it would look pretty sick as a drag setup.

Thank you for the memories, seeing older cars that started my teenage drool brings back a lot. My first car was a 1971 Buick Skylark, white over green, 350/350, with oyster white seats and oversized tires. It is amazing how much power the cars back then didn't have for the displacement. I spent my extra dollars at $1.25 per hour on the interior: Pioneer cassette head unit, JBL 6x9 in the rear deck, multi-green shag carpet. Back then it was hot; times have changed indeed.

I always preferred the Centerline brushed aluminum Auto/Drag wheel, and this is also what I drove on in my first car back in high school.

This is not my first car, but just an example of the wheels.

In 1983 I put centerlines on my brand new Z28 had my tire guy send them out to be polished because you could not get them polished. After that he told me guy's were always coming in and asking him for polished centerlines. My car was well known in the street racing scene at that time Loved them and really stood out..
