Oh I love Cragars! But really, any cool chrome 5 spoke rim does it for me.
My 06 had 18" Bullitt rims.

My 07 GT 401A came with an "upgraded" wheel and I thought it looked like crap, so I got the standard wheels from Ford for $94 a piece and swapped them out,LOVE SS CRAGERS, on a 67 Mustang GT Coupe, or 69 Chevelle SS, NOT on newer models cars. Tire profiles, wider tires, and body styles have changed. I like 5 spoke wheels, but the newer versions on our car. Cragers where made during a certain time period and that is where they should stay. IMHO...

Absolutely enjoyed your post. Having this 25GT brings me back to 1977 with my first car, a 69 Camaro and you guessed it, it had Cragars. Glad I bought a smile to someone’s face.As I recall, the Cragar SS was the most popular wheel when I was introduced into the muscle car cruising scene in the late 70's and early 80's. During that timeframe I spent my summers in Roanoke Va. at my uncles house so I could be with my late cousin and friend Rondol. I spent my time riding shotgun in his 1966 Mustang equipped with a 289 and you guessed it..... Cragar SS wheels. Most Friday and Saturday nights were spent cruisin up and down Williamson Rd. racking up the miles on his Mustang. Williamson Rd. in that era was a hot spot for muscle cars and cruisin (and nice young ladies). That one road lured like minded people in from many surrounding counties. Time marches on and like most good things the lure of Williamson Rd. was turned off by local government, citizens, and police. I don't remember all details that led to the death of crusin on Williamson Rd. The hot rod scene evolved and fractured in differing directions, and interests. Unfortunately, levels of respect fractured too. I'm sure the later played a big role in the demise of Crusin Williamson Rd.
It's rare to see someone sporting Cragar SS today. When I do it puts a smile on my face and carries me back in time just like a good song.
To say I love Cragar SS is almost an understatement.
@Sig Oris - Your thread transported me back to a time when the weight on my shoulders was nonexistent. Thank you!
How much air is in the rear shocks, looks like they might need a bumping up a tad or two.Seen a few lackluster renders in here.. Here's a proper render with the Cragar SS and a version with Torque Thrusts, for your viewing pleasure.![]()

I don't have a problem at all with these renders......In fact, I'm loving that last picture.......Cragars are a classic wheel that have been on 1000s of muscle cars.Seen a few lackluster renders in here..
