Barely 1,300 miles and already got a chip on the passenger side, a four-point star about 1/4" across and a chunk out of the center. Don't know how, but I've managed to go more than a decade without getting one like this on my other cars. Tiny little pits yes, but not a star. I've never tried one of those chip repairs before. And the Mustang appears to have a lot of electronics associated with the windshield which is a new phenomenon to me too. Should I get the chip repaired and hope it doesn't spread or go ahead and get a new windshield?
