After a LOT of research I decided to have my new 2026 Mustang GT premium convertible ceramic coated. It had about 15 miles on it when I drove it to the detailing shop. The detailer rinsed it, applied a neutralizer to remove contaminants (particularly steel dust from the railway stock yards where our Mustangs wait for transport), paint corrected via buffing, clay barred it, then applied Feynlab V3. The color is Molten Magenta tri-color metallic - the change was dramatic. As the Mustang arrived from the factory the paint was striking enough but after the Feynlab V3 the paint is amazing. The color looks deeper, the shine is blinding and the surface is slick. I can hardly believe the difference. I also had the detailer remove all four rims/tires to do the same process to the rims - spokes and inside barrels - to make it easier to remove brake dust. It comes with a 6 year warranty. As I garage park it with a soft cover it will likely not need the warranty. I also purchased two 1 liter bottles of the Feynlab PH neutral Pure Wash. The wash process is to spray the car with water, spray a light coating of Pure Wash onto the paint with a spritzer bottle, rinse the car off then use the big microfiber towels I have to pat dry any beaded-up water. I will not drive it for seven days to allow an 80% cure stage. It will be fully cured in 30 days at which point it can be washed with Pure Wash. Until then I can just spray water on it and blot the surface with my micorfiber towels. The two best things I did with this car was to have it delivered from the dealer (300 miles away) on a flat bed and have the Feynlab V3 put on the paint and rims. ***** A comforting note to Mustang owners. The detailer said he and his crew admired the quality of the Ford paint job. The detailer is booked months in advance by owners of every top end car you can think of so when he said they had very little paint correction to do, as compared to a lot of other vehicles, that is good news for all of us Mustang owners. I will try to attach some pictures but they really don't do the look justice. BTW on the drive home (5 miles) from the detailing shop I must have been honked at and thumbs upped a dozen times!
