Fingers crossed. Today Congress votes to rescind Californication's "tailpipe emissions laws" that have over ridden Federal omission legislation to make the requirements punitive and soon, if unchecked, impossible for ICE vehicles in Californication. It looks like Congress will rescind them and this will effect all States. We have discussed how our beloved Mustangs will fare in the future. Today, fingers crossed, all performance enthusiasts and their beloved vehicles may benefit from a dose of sanity.

Don’t want to stomp on your parade, but HJ res 87-89 have nothing to do with tailpipe emissions and more so have to do with heavy trucking bans, diesel truck bans, and the EV car mandate. Nothing in the wording or literature of these says it is a rollback of CARB or California emissions standards. I’ve been heavily following these and there’s a bunch of misinformation out there regarding these and the Transportation Freedom Act, none of which have any text in them that dismantle CARB nor rollback anything. It’s more so just to prevent future stuff from taking effect. The closest thing being debated right now regarding tailpipe emissions and SMOG is Leno’s Law in California regarding cars 35 years old and older getting smog exempt. And also, multiple car companies have outright said they do not want these resolutions to pass because it affects their long term planning. Just being realistic here. I think it would take a heavy heavy bill that would have to pass californias lawmakers in order to roll back tailpipe emissions standards

I really love informed people. Thank you more than you know for not taking headlines as facts.
