Buzzing sounds and right screen going black

Several months ago I started getting a loud buzz when I hit various buttons on right screen. Most recently when I hit the mustang button right screen goes black. System reboots after several minutes. Dealer said Ford will apparently send out software update in October. As the right screen controls alot of important functions I called Ford. They said "we have no known fix for this issue" and I would have to deal with the dealer I bought the car from. I tried to explain dealer can't do anything as it's a production issue. Ford customer service person just kept saying "there's no known fix" and that I basically had to live with it. They wouldn't confirm there's is a software solution coming. Anyone else having this issue?

I don't have any buzzing noise but I have had the right screen turn black during start up, after a minute it re boots and works just fine. It happens on a regular basis.

I had one incident so far with 2500 miles on my car. At a slightly different rate from the beeping of the turn signal, I got a continuous loud pulsing of static through the speakers. I shut off the radio, my phone, and ultimately the car. After several minutes of the ignition off, dash dark, still the pulsing static came through the speakers. I came back to the car a few hours later, no static pulsing, and it hasn't returned in 500 miles. I just added it to the list of items for when I return the car to the dealer for warranty work - the fans in my ventilated seats don't work, and seam stitching has failed in both back seats even though no one has ever sat back there.

Just wondering if you have any pics of the seam stitching that failed in both your back seats?

my wife’s car just had her right side screen go blank today. It’s not come back on. Have you had any resolve with your issue? What did the dealer end up saying?

All dealer said was there will be Software update in Sept/Oct. I called Ford and they said "there is no known fix" for this issue. If your dealer finds a fix can you let me know? Thx

The infotainment reset worked. The screen now works as normal.

How did you reset it? Forced restart?

Hi. I've put 1000 miles on my 24 gt premium. Lately the right screen is blank almost every time I start the car. After about 10 minutes it comes on, but the ( my mustang) screen is frozen and I can't use any of the options, for example: exhaust modes, my color , driving modes. I coincidentally have an appointment on Friday for a recall. I hope this is a simple fix and not a continuous problem.
