Just installed a Barton Hybrid 3 shifter with the reverse pull up lockout collar on my 24 Mustang GT. Its trans mounted and I love it and love how it shifts, however, after I installed it, I noticed that I will sometimes get locked out of second gear, almost like it’s hitting a wall. I haven’t shifted in the higher RPM’s with the Barton yet so it has only happened in the lower RPM range and I’ve only experienced it with second gear. The 1-2 shift has always been kind of notchy with the stock shifter but I never got completely locked out of second like I have with the Barton. Just wondering if anyone thinks it could be something simple like adjusting the shifter or if it’s something like a synchronizer or anything else?
