Thanks Sofa King! I’ll have to look at the install video with my eyes open next time…lol.

Or at least look at only Billetworkz install videos. I shouldn’t have assumed all brands assembled the same way.

I believe it's the manuals that assemble the same. I'll have to watch them just to deci which brand I like.

Manuals don’t need the auto adapter with lock-out collar. You get more options with manual knobs too. Ford even makes a cool Perf. Knob. From what I understand, for manuals, a weighted knob feels a lot better and is preferred by many.

Ford wants to much. The same thing is available from other vendors. The original vendor for Ford's shifter knobs is still around. They make all kinds of different Types. But I don't think they have them for automatics.

Lol…..Ford is VERY proud of every one of their performance parts And accessories.

Yeah, I noticed they only make knobs for manuals. I’m excited to get my Billetworkz knobs and adapter, much more for the lock collar to prevent me from making another bonehead mistake and take off in manual mode while not realizing it. I still cringe thinking about watching the tach climb to 7 grand in first gear while I’m still breaking the damn car in.

I swear, this summer has been so damn hot and humid, I haven’t been able to think straight since May. I’ve done more stupid things in the last 2 months than the last 5 years combined.

Was goin to get SR shifters until I seen the Billetworx video. SR and others come with a few parts. Billetworx only two, unless you have your own shifter ball as I do. I replaced my DH shifter ball with white one. Then the car was stolen. Since blue 💙 is my favorite color I replaced my DH with an atlas blue GT. Billetworx states any shifter ball from a manual 15-25 Mustang will fit. So I'm ordering the adapter and use my beloved DHs titanium blue shifter ball.

Correct! And yes, the silver piece is easily removable and there will still be a “bushing” type ring for the clean fit.
How did you remove the silver part without damaging the boot. Thanks

Just a little pressure, it's basically glued to the silver part.

The head is a standard Phillips head. The screw is very short (around a 1/4") so be careful when removing them and don't drop them.

Thanks for your help. I did drop one, so I had to get another. I found out that the size is 4mm and is very small. To replace the screw was $8 at a local dealer. Ace had a short 4mm but not that short.
