Prior to applying Darkside (good to see you still mention this ) I have wiped down the sidewalls with turps, as per your suggestion a while back.


I have a bottle of De-Solv-It on my to-buy list with the next visit to the Red & Green monopoly shed.

The marketing is confusing.
The smaller bottle is marketed as sticky spot and stain remover, whereas larger bottles are simply multi-purpose cleaner.

Coles do stock a 150mL variant for $6.70 ($4.47/100mL)

I also noticed they do a glass cleaner.

I would have been curious to try this against Stoner's Invisible Glass.
Perhaps this is a "sign from above" to just stick with Stoner's!

After watching a recent The Rag Company video, I'm going to need something like a "Mitt on a Stick" in the near future! No, not for the Mustang, but a new stable mate on the way, one that is going to be more of a bastard to clean, especially with a driveway on an incline.



Although found on Amazon AU, I haven't yet found an Aussie detailing supplier that carries these (yet). Amazon pricing is ~$144.

This is a significant premium over the $40 Meguiars Reacher Wash Mate available from the local Autobarn.

I don't dare doubt the TRC product is superior, and you get what you pay for, but ouch!
