In Europe they state that the 2024 Mustang is true re-birth of the American Icon!

Here are the sales figures for USA

The the sales numbers should be compared with other make sports cars sold in the USA. I think the shape of the graph for those other brands would look similar.

Comparing the MSRP of the absolute base level car doesn't really mean anything when most real-world builds for 2025 went up by $4,000-$5,000. Regardless, do we really need another thread on this? There's already a couple others discussing current pricing.

Corvette prices are Tanking - some dealers are offering $8 and $9K off MSRP - time for me to start shopping 👍

I wonder if these massive reductions are being financed in part on the backend by Chevrolet. That’s a large nut for a dealer to eat. But regardless, this is not good news for us Mustang guys. The pundits keep pushing how Chevy’s done such a great job spending god no what on the C8. And now the prices are tanking. This isn’t good for any of us.

Very bad for used sales - because in some instances Manufacturers are offering lower financing as incentives, although not the case for Corvettes. But Ford I believe is offering 3.9% for 36 months on 2024 Mustangs. So trying to sell your used Mustang is going to be very, very, difficult because used financing is above 6.9% and all the way up to 10% ... Great time to be a CASH buyer

I bought a new GT 6-speed base model with only the spare tire in October 2024, built in February. I've owned a 2019 GT Track Pack Automatic, a 2017 GT base Automatic and a 2015 GT 6-speed Track Pack Mustang. Each one of these cars has been a tight, quiet, fast and luxurious sport touring car. Each revision has gotten better. My 2015 6-speed car had steering issues and a tricky transmission to shift smoothly. The 2017 GT Automatic had a minor body issue fixed by the dealer with a small hex wrench. Other than that, great. The 2019 GT Automatic with the Track Pack never went straight down the road. I could let go of the steering wheel and it would veer either left or right. Never straight ahead. But, regardless of the minor mechanical issues, each revision brought a tighter, more quiet, smoother and more luxury feel to the car. My 2024 GT continues on this path. It is Lexus quiet at any speed. It's BMW tight in it's handling and steering. It is Coyote V8 fast at any time and it cost me $2000 under the sticker price of $43,720. You can't touch any foreign sport touring car that fast and that 'tight and right' under $90,000. I know, I looked. I consider my new GT a fantastic bargain. I'm 73. It's the last car I will ever own.

Thanks Snakeyes. Got a Pacemaker installed last May. That led to buying the new GT. Think I did get a new "lease on life". The Mustang is helping my recovery. Much better attitude! Now if I can just manage to live another 10 years.
Let’s see…gets a pacemaker and then buys a 480hp rocket. What could possibly go wrong?

Kidding, of course. I’ll be 73 in March. Hearts in good shape, as far as I know. But congrats to you for grabbing life by the balls. Enjoy it for many, many years to come.:like:
