@D/\rK•650,
I saw what you mentioned in regards to your car. I'm sorry to hear it because an issue like that would diminish all of the joy that comes with making a purchase like this. I hope Ford can fix it for you. 🙏 Hoping for a good outcome.
Thank you for the kind words.

There is a button on the left side of the steering wheel to turn that off ;)
Thanks I got the music thing down on the right side. I need to start programming my drive modes. That button on the top on the left I thought was for adaptive cruise but it probably does some other stuff I haven't read about yet.

I had an M2 on my list and you need to turn that crap off every time you start the car and they are of course buried in the menus.
You can set up a "custom" setting that will turn off everything permanently (and remember it). Except for automatic braking - just like the Mustang, you'll have to turn that off at engine start.

I've coded it off.

Paid BMW M2 money for Ford. And it is showing. Lots of vegan leather in the interior.
Not M2 money in my case, because BMW prices have been boosted up to the sky as well, but €80k for a Mustang is way too much money without any doubt.

This said, lack of overall "quality" can be found here and there if you compare it with BMW/AUDI, and feeling to the touch of that fake leather is... Well, I don´t even know how to tell it, I couldn´t hate more the feeling of the wheel for instance. But (there is always a but) that´s exactly what I was expecting, and expectations are what always make the difference.

Let´s say that it´s clearly a Ford, by no means an AAA level interior of fitments, and it would be perfectly fine for a BBB price. But if you can live with that, it´s also true that it has clearly become impossible to be even close to that power/price level with any other alternative, and even if I´m aware that I paid too much, I truly enjoy driving this little sea boat.

P.S. - I was looking at the new RS5 as alternative, but starting price tag has been finally set to €125k... :crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup:

Compared to my previous 2021 Mach 1, on my 2025 DH, alignment of the hood, passenger side front fender, trunk lid, and rear panel supporting the spoiler were not as good as they should be. Body shops were reluctant to attempt adjustments as they were afraid to make things worse. I replaced the rear panel supporting the spoiler with the Anderson Composites Integrated Carbon Fiber Ducktail Spoiler after painting it to match the body color. It fits better than the factory part and looks better and sleeker.
IMHO there is something truly wrong with that front hood/fender design. I don´t know what they were trying, but they got themselves in troubles by no reason. In my case I could finally get a decent alignment with fair symmetry between hood and side panels, narrow and gaps, good straight line and alignment between panel/hood/fender... but poor height alignment between hood and front fender. On the sides it´s ok, but right in the middle hood is too low. If you try to lift it a little bit, you have to adjust side panels as well, and everything becomes too high. It´s like hood and fender having different shapes, with the hood flatter than the fender.

I don´t mind "playing "with my cars, I´ve been doing it all my life with all cars I owned. But I never ever had to do such thing with a brand new car with less than 1.000km on it :crazy:
