Anyone know in FORScan what "PCM reset all adaptations" does?

Was having some harsh shifting issues so I cleared the transmission adaptive tables. Shifts are much better now.

Anyone know what all the PCM Reset All Adaptations resets? Hour on Google came up with nothing. TIA

EDIT: Apparently nothing...I tried it and FORScan stated it does not apply to this vehicle

Can I ask about process to clear the transmission adaptive tables? I have a weird "pause" zone in 3rd gear that always bugs me. So was wondering if clearing the "history" may help with it.

Thanks

You just click the gear icon to get to "Service Procedures" and clear the transmission adaptive tables. I have done this a few times, it helped the first time get smoother shifts though the 3-4 shudder or pause is still there. This is a very common issue on all 10r80 trans.

Ok, good to know. Thanks for the response. Glad to know I'm not only one with the lag.......I'm sure in future with toon it could get smoothed out? Or maybe not and just transmission thing?

Yeah very common on the A10. I noticed after clearing the tables it is least noticeable in Normal mode driving normal. By that I mean giving it mid throttle when accelerating. Not too much and not too little. In fact when I go light on the pedal in Normal mode it is the worst.

Of course the only way to avoid it entirely is use the paddles, which I enjoy quite often.

Yeah I hope once tuned it can fix this as well what I find most annoying is the horrid throttle lag this car has
