I noticed a different FORScan behavior on my new '26 Mustang and am wondering if other '26 owners notice the same thing: the BCM resets itself each time you pull it up in FORScan. This is even without making changes. The car will make the Ford chime sound (ba-dum-dum) and the max brightness prompt pops up on the dash. It also does this after writing any BCM changes. My 3 prior S650s did not do this.
- I also noticed Auto-Start-Stop stopped working after making some BCM changes (it's not disabled in FORScan, no errors or DTCs). Even after reverting to my original backed-up BCM config. I think it's because the BCM is resetting itself each time, and the car enters a re-learn phase for the battery management system (BMS).
- I also noticed the TPMS readings disappear each time the BCM resets (and they eventually get detected again).
Any other '26 owners also have this BCM behavior in FORScan? Or have I unknowingly screwed something up?
