So you can watch your passenger’s toes curl…I just don’t get it why they have ambient lighting on the floor by my feet.

Only a woman would make this comment.Well, it’s hard when you have 3 buttons on garage door opener and no lights, and you have to put your hand up there and figure which one it is. I think they didn’t think all this stuff out too well, and the not having one in cup holders.
Had to have been a man doing all the thinking.
That would be a no. Had them in my 15’ and have them in my 19’. No glare. Just Ford cutting corners. Not defending Ford here for cutting corners but maybe the lights in the cup holders might reflect up into the windshield.
Here in GA we refer to that as the ASR, or Artillery Storage Receptacle. We like to keep it dark to maintain the element of surprise.Put it in the center console. It has a light.
But, I am 100% sure, had she designed it, or any other woman. There would have been lights in the cup holdersAND ON GARAGE DOOR BUTTONS! Agree??@Stratman397 By the way not all designers are men. I met Emeline and couple of years back. What an amazing human being. Bought her book for my granddaughter. An exceptional role model.

If they did, it would be the first time I had heard that. My last car had them in cup holders and no glare. It was ford cutting corners! Not defending Ford here for cutting corners but maybe the lights in the cup holders might reflect up into the windshield.
I actually didn’t look on the other side to see if they had them on the floor. Just the driver side is all I was looking atSo you can watch your passenger’s toes curl…

I guess in that case it depends on who’s doing the watching.I actually didn’t look on the other side to see if they had them on the floor. Just the driver side is all I was looking at
You Always a comeback, huh?I guess in that case it depends on who’s doing the watching.
On occasion. You Always a comeback, huh?
Think that's the only thing I put in my center console, now to be known as the ASR.Here in GA we refer to that as the ASR, or Artillery Storage Receptacle. We like to keep it dark to maintain the element of surprise.
