Does anyone know how to get any visibility on the allocations for the 60th anniversary edition?
They conducted a limited time sweepstakes to enter to win a spot to order a limited (250 cars I believe) in the Britany Blue color.
That leaves 1,715 of the 1965 cars being made that are left for allocation.
I have an order in for one but I have not received official confirmation with a VIN yet.
I have no idea if they have received 500 order or 5,000 orders for the special edition.
If they have received more orders than the 1,715 available, how will it be determined who gets allocation?
Will it be based on first orders or will it be random? Will dealer size play a factor in this?
I have ordered my through a smaller Ford Dealer that may not have the allocation power of other dealerships.
Also wondering if they will produce them all at the same time or if they will make them over the course of the full model year.
Any insight on how Ford might conduct this process would be welcomed.
