Actice Exhaust valves

Is there anyone out in Mustang land that has worked with exhaust valve actuators? I replaced my Active exhaust with the Borla Catback. I can't seem to get the springs to line up with the wheel natches. I have the springs out and the valves wired open so no rattling now. I like the full open sound, but it's nice be quiet when needed.
Is there a trick to this. Any help would really appreciated.
