I am running the stage 2 kit. My tuner informed me I did not need the booster unless I go with a smaller pulley. The 3.6 or 3.5; then I need to address the fuel. I am running the 3.75, and it's fine.
Some tuners are fine with a bit of pressure droop from the low side but not me. It’s fine on basically new cars, but as the pump ages it can get worse. I wouldn’t chance it for the $400 shipped it was. Easy tune update and now my low side is rock steady.

Does it run the fuel pump on high full time, like when idling?

It does if you don’t fix that in the tune. That’s why I was saying you don’t need a tune for it to work but then you lose fpdm control of the pump. Not mine works like stock but had way more headroom up to 18v now. But at idle it was commanding 56psi and getting actual 80+ until I fixed it. Now it’s like stock until I go wot.
