24 & UP Mustang Engineering Mode !?

So last time I had my DH out I somehow managed to get it in engineering mode. On the dash it said engineering mode & allowed you to cycle through many different areas. Freaked me out a little because I didn't want to mess anything up. So, I shut the car off & restarted it to get out of the E-Mode. Anyone else manage to do this I don't remember the sequence. Left the car running opened the driver side door & let open while going to the trunk & opened it from there I forget exactly the rest of the sequence but it's there LOL.

Don't know if there is or are multiple ways but, in my case, it was definitely a sequence of letting the car run opening the drivers door & letting it open then open the trunk & I think close it then getting back in the car???? I forget the exact sequence.

It’s the same like the diagnostic mode on the Focus. The main thing to do in there would be adjusting the AFE bias so that it can accurately reflect your true calculated mpg or checking DTC.

Our did that this afternoon when we went out to lunch. Trunk was popped open, so I had to close that. It went away after we had stopped and locked it for lunch, then unlocked and started it back up.
