24’ GT Covert drive selector lights?

First time driving the car at night, and I noticed that the automatic shift indicator D, R,P indicators don’t light up. Looks like the letters are just paint on the shifter? So is that what everybody else has? I have the 401A package.

I will have to check this out but all of those show up on the dashboard between the tachometer and the speedometer I also have the 401a.

yeah, seeing them on the dash but I’m just used to seeing lights on the shifter.

Ford didn’t want to confuse anyone with too many lights?
I’ve always seen the shifter lights.
This is progress, LOL!

I think they stopped backlighting them in 2019 or 2020. Looks cheap that way but what are you gonna do?

I agree it somewhat odd with just stickers, could have looked very cool lift up at night

I would buy a kit to add shifter lights if they make them.

My 2019 isn't illuminated. I think they stopped with the 2018 facelift?

Wife's 2016 Edge doesn't light either. We are supposed to rely on the displays now.
My Mustangs are always manuals, so I won't be missing it.

My 2018 is a manual but has cup holder lights, those light up the general area, my 2024 has th A10 and it's a big drag hole down there. I don't mind using the display so much but if you drop something it's a bitch to retrieve.

The Mycolor cup holders were nice too, but those are now gone
